Obtain pre-certification for various testing and or therapy. Obtains necessary personal and medical information from Physician office on the patient for use in authorization. Performs computer data entry and other record keeping tasks related to certification of patients./ppDepartment: Radiology Location: Woodland Park Status: Full Time Shift: Days Hours: 8a-4p/ppJob Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies./pulliExcellent interpersonal and communications skills/liliAbility to function independently/liliClerical, data entry and some typing skills, including: Filing and record keeping/liliAbility to work in fast-paced environment/liliFlexible and able to pay close attention to details/liliAbility to complete needed tasks with speed accuracy/liliKnowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS and/or drug codes/li/ulpEducation Requirements:/pulliCompletion of high school or equivalent education or minimum 5 years experience in related field/liliOne or more years of related insurance experience in a healthcare facility or physicians office preferred/li/ulpEnglewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidates relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
