
divh2Outside Sprinkler Sales Representative/h2pThe primary function of this role is to sell new contracts for sprinkler systems. The employee will be responsible for bidding contract work, creating job schedules, coordinating the delivery of tools, identifying and managing the personnel assigned to each project, and tracking labor efficiency. In addition, the individual will be responsible for representing the company at job progress meetings and initiating change orders. This position reports directly to the VP of Sprinkler Contract Sales./ppThis job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast paced multi-tasked environment with a focus towards sales, prospecting for new clients, and customer service. It will require travel to potential/existing customer sites./ppstrongEssential Duties / Responsibilities:/strong/pulliPerform basic troubleshooting of wet based fire systems, and describe them to owners and service managers for repairs./liliSell new and used sprinkler system services to new and existing customers./liliLearn, understand, and interpret local, state, and national building fire codes to identify compliance issues at customer facilities and recommend solutions./liliPerform customer surveys as required/requested./liliObtain all licensing required to perform job function, as applicable./liliObtain manufacturers certifications required to perform job function, as applicable./liliComplete proper scheduling and execution of monthly calls as assigned by management./liliResponsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining customer retention./liliExecute all Company processes and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner./liliAccurately define project requirements./liliCreate job schedules and coordinate the delivery of tools to the project site./liliIdentify and manage the personnel assigned to each project and track their labor efficiency./liliAttend job progress meetings, initiate change orders and contract progress billings./liliEstimate remaining cost-to-complete for monthly NIP reporting./liliManage the day-to-day operations of assigned projects so that they are completed on time and on budget./liliWork with clients to brainstorm creative solutions to their problems and to ensure their needs are met through our customized solutions./liliManage projects following established guidelines that ensure they are completed as efficiently as possible./liliCommunicate with team members regarding project needs./liliRead and analyzing job cost reports taking appropriate action as needed./liliRespond to inquiries from the senior management team in timely manner./liliAssist with collections as required./liliRead architectural drawings and determine proper sprinkler system locations for new construction and remodel projects./liliTravel to customer and job sites as needed./liliMaintain frequent communication with VP of Sprinkler Contract Sales./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/ppTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
