This is a hybrid-based position and candidates must reside within 50 miles of our Chanhassen, MN location to be considered for this role./ph3What Youll Do:/h3pstrongPosition Overview:/strong/ppThe primary function of the Senior Service Sales Engineer is to sell Eatons electrical services offerings to industrial, utility, commercial, data center and institutional customers in the targeted market areas. In doing so, the Senior Sales Engineer will manage the customer relationship, providing sales support and technical expertise to distributors, end users, contractors and specifiers. South Dakota/liliTrain and empower channel partners and manufacturing agents to sell services to end customers and contractors/liliBe a subject matter expert on the services offering for the rest of Eatons electrical sales organization to support and coach the organization in your region on selling services/liliAct as the voice of the customer to Eatons services operations and marketing teams, ensuring high customer service and satisfaction/liliCollect, analyze and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences and buying habits/liliPrepare and present quotations to customers/liliDevelop market-based growth strategies to ensure sustained success of Eatons services product lines/li/ulpWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we

are stronger./ph3Qualifications:/h3pstrongRequired (Basic) Qualifications:/strong/pulliBachelors degree from an accredited institution/liliMinimum three (3) years of electrical sales, field service or electrical industry experience/liliPossess a valid drivers license/liliThis position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. government export regulations applicable to that information, an applicant must be a U.S. person defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158./liliNo relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Chanhassen, MN to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation./li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliBachelors degree in Engineering/liliPrevious electrical (or relevant) sales experience/liliPrevious services experience/li/ulh3Skills:/h3pstrongPosition Criteria:/strong/pulliPossess excellent communication skills/liliMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future/liliKnowledge of key customers and ability to grow relationships at those customers in multiple levels of the organization/liliAbility to assess customer needs, provide clear, competitive quotations and overcome customer objections to win and grow the business/liliDemonstrates understanding of market trends, industry issues and knowledge of competitors/liliAbility to leverage support personnel to meet customer needs and work cross functionally in the organization to serve customers/liliKnowledge of Eaton electrical product and service capabilities and ability to solution sell to meet customer needs/liliEffective implementation of Eatons internal sales process/liliEffective inclusion, interpersonal and teamwork skills/liliTime management, presentation and planning skills/liliAbility to travel up to 25% (closer to 30% on an as-needed basis)/li/ul/div
