divh2Job Summary/h2pEMCOR Services NY/NJ an EMCOR Group company is seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive to join our team and drive sales for HVAC products. As a Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers to identify the scope of work, provide solutions and close sales./ppWe are looking for a candidate who can sell with minimal supervision to contractors, consultants, and building owners. This candidate must have a network of industry contacts and the ability to foster customer relationships./ppstrongEssential Functions:/strong/ppThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliResponsible for direct sales of the companys services, including prospecting leads, effectively qualifying sales calls, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiations and managing sales cycle to close sales./liliEnsures that a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained and that sales revenue, gross margins, product mix meet or exceed assigned targets./liliPrepares complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required./liliAppraises and survey mechanical systems to determine condition, age, application, and proper quantity for maintenance requirements./liliParticipates in training. Attends meetings, trade shows, seminars and other training and networking events as required or requested./liliKeeps informed of industry information of interest to customers. Tracks industry trends. Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining new business./li/ulpstrongSales Skills/strong/ppProspecting/pulliContinually search for new customers using all available resources and leads./liliActively pursue and contact these prospective customers as a planned sales activity./li/ulpQualifying/pulliMake qualifying presentations to new prospects for the purpose of identifying customer needs, wants, problems and potential problems./liliQualify prospects and decide whether or not to pursue the prospect and/or what products or solutions to propose./li/ulpStrategy/pulliUnderstand the customers organization, purchasing process, and identify key decision makers. Identify your sponsor or sponsors./liliUtilize EMCOR strategic selling methodology to manage the contract sales process leading to favorable decisions and an order./liliActively pursue and follow this strategic sales plan for each prospect./li/ulpstrongEducation and/or Experience:/strong/pulli35 years of related experience in a HVAC or construction industry./lili2+ years experience in HVAC commercial, chiller or maintenance service sales ideal./li/ulpstrongQualifications/strong/pulliStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills./liliStrong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude./liliMust possess a valid drivers license./li/ulpstrongSoftware/strong/pulliProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint./liliTraining in corporate safety systems will be provided./li/ulpstrongEMCOR Services New York/New Jersey is an equal opportunity employer and will provide reasonable accommodation to those individuals who are unable to be vaccinated consistent with federal, state, and local law/strong/ppstrongThe salary range for this position is 100K to 150K depending on experience + Incentive.
