This role focuses heavily on outbound prospecting and new merchant acquisition, while also managing and expanding a growing book of business./ppYoull work primarily with online merchants using platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce. This is a hybrid role based in Richmond, VA, with approximately 95% inside sales and account management and occasional travel to industry events and merchant onsite meetings./ph3What Youll Do/h3ulliProspect and close new e-commerce merchant partners via outbound calling, inbound leads, email, and virtual selling/liliOwn the merchant lifecycle from initial outreach through onboarding and early-stage growth/liliServe as the primary point of contact, driving adoption, performance, and account expansion/liliEducate merchants on integrating and optimizing Koalafi financing across major e-commerce platforms/liliConduct virtual demos, presentations, and training sessions/liliCollaborate with Marketing, Product, Integrations, and Sales teams/liliManage pipeline, activity, and performance metrics in CRM/liliMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and onboarding KPIs/li/ulh3About You/h3ulli2+ years of inside sales and/or account management experience (SaaS, fintech, payments, or e-commerce preferred)/liliExperience working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce/liliAbility to discuss checkout flows, conversion rates, plugins/apps, and basic technical concepts (no coding required)/liliStrong communication skills, phone presence, and virtual presentation abilities/liliOrganized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment/liliCRM experience (Salesforce or similar)/li/ulh3Preferred/h3ulliExperience selling to or supporting online merchants or digital-first businesses/li/ulpNOTE: The full-time annual year-one on-target compensation (base salary + commission) for this role is $100,000 - $130,000+.
