IT Asset Manager

The IT Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring the company's technology assets, including hardware, software, and subscriptions, are accurately tracked, governed, and optimized across their full lifecycle. This position is also responsible for ensuring our CMDB and service maps reliably represent how technology supports restaurant and enterprise operations. Job Responsibilities: Defines and manages the hardware lifecycle, ensuring hardware records are complete and accurate. Hardware lifecycle includes: plan/standardize, request/procure, receive, tag/register, deploy, maintain, transfer, recover, refresh, and dispose. Ensure hardware records are complete and accurate. Integrates and consolidates asset data from Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and other sources into ServiceNow. Partners with other departments to identify and consolidate store assets and equipment from various enterprise solutions. Maintains software entitlements, license positions, and compliance for major publishers and enterprise applications. Coordinates with and supports vendor audits and internal compliance reviews, ensuring evidence is accurate and readily available. Responsible for governance for subscription-based software and SaaS. Maintains an accurate subscription inventory, including contract terms, renewal dates, costs, owners, and consumption (seats/usage). Partners with procurement, finance, and service owners to forecast renewals, prevent lapses, and reduce shelf ware. Defines CI classes, naming standards, required attributes, and lifecycle states aligned to IT operations needs. Establishes CI ownership. Ensures CI data quality and maintains integrity of CI relationships and service mapping to support other ITSM functions. Serves as functional owner for ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB capabilities; requirements, enhancement intake, testing, release readiness, and adoption.
