divh2Senior Sales Engineer - Mission Critical/h2pEatons North American Sales division is currently seeking a Senior Sales Engineer - Mission Critical to join its team. This position can be based in either Mountainside, NJ or New York, NY. Relocation assistance is available for candidates who reside outside a 50-mile radius of these locations. This role focuses on mission-critical products and solutions, primarily through selling service contracts to existing Eaton customers. Our team is dedicated to improving lives and safeguarding the environment through our products and services./ppWhat will you do?/pulliBuild relationships with key customers and channel partners to enhance long-term business prospects/liliExecute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements/liliReview and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications/liliPrepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines while using sound business judgment/liliCollaborate cross functionally with product lines, operations, and other internal stakeholders to provide customer centric solutions/liliBe aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitive activities while communicating such information to product divisions/liliAssist teammates on training Channel on Eaton Products and Electronic Tools/liliCollect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits to drive data based decisions/liliProvide accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation, and technical support/liliPlan promotional events and presentations with distributor personnel to promote Eatons position, while developing a proven record of achieving assigned sales goals/li/ulh3What Will Make You Successful?/h3p General knowledge of Eaton Electrical product and service capabilities/pp Ability to build trust and relationships with various types of people/pp Ability to anticipate and be proactive on customer needs/pp Ability to leverage internal stakeholders to meet customer and organizational needs/pp Ability to learn and utilize digital tools and proprietary software/pp Technical problem-solving, communication, customer service, time management, presentation, planning, interpersonal and teamwork skills./pp Understanding of sales processes/ph3Qualifications/h3pRequired (Basic) Qualifications:/pp Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution/pp Minimum three (3) year of experience within the electrical industry or in technical sales/pp Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted drivers license/ppEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
