We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Volunteer Donor Relations Manager to builds and maintains strong connections with supporters (individuals, corps, foundations) to increase fundraising, retention, and engagement through stewardship, personalized cultivation, grant writing,/nav campaign coordination, donor communications, and managing giving programs (like major gifts, planned giving, sustainer programs) to meet organizational financial goals and foster long-term support. Duties Identify, solicit, and steward donors; create personalized plans; manage portfolios; oversee donor recognition. Develop and implement strategies for major gifts, grants, appeals, events, and annual campaigns. Write compelling proposals, marketing materials, manage donor database and acknowledgments. Plan and execute fundraising events, direct mail, digital appeals, and corporate volunteer efforts Track donor data, analyze campaign performance, and ensure compliance with funding rules. Work with development teams, leadership, and boards to align efforts and achieve common goals. Cultivate relationships with donors through personalized communication, recognition programs, and stewardship activities Assist in business development efforts to secure funding opportunities Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation Monitor fundraising performance metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership to inform strategic planning Qualifications Proven experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, or donor relations roles Strong background in event planning, public speaking, and relationship management Proficiency with CRM software Skilled in social media management, email marketing, and digital outreach strategies Knowledge of grant proposal writing and business development techniques Excellent strategic planning abilities with a focus on donor engagement and retention Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—along with strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Strong organizational, strategic planning, and project management abilities.
