PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION As aSearch Marketing Managerat adidas your role is to drive organic traffic to adidasUSeComthrough SEO initiatives. You work with internal and external partners toleveragethe power of the adidas brand to grow organic trafficthrough the support of promotional and go-to-market initiatives. The SEOand paid searchteamsaregrowth enginesfor one ofadidas.com’slargest acquisition channels, and this rolewill bekey tointegratingallfacetsof SEO (technical, on-site, GTM, offsite, editorial)to help meet/exceed KPI targets and increase efficiency and ROIon our traffic generation initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Scope: Accountable fororganic trafficand revenuegenerationvia partnerships and content marketing.

Supportfull-funnel traffic generation initiativesbycoordinating SEO workstreams; managing projectsfrom concept development to final delivery

Hands-onsupportofgo-to-marketand promotionalcampaigns from a data-driven SEO perspective

Support agency partner relationships with a focus on measuring impact and documenting ROI

Ensure SEO deliverables and output are meeting expectations

Ownership ofreporting coveringtraffic generation,partnership marketing, and PR outreach

Reports caninclude:link acquisition,conversion and traffic lift from links, impact of content efforts to larger brand initiatives outside of traditional KPI’s.

Leverage reporting and data insights tooptimizethe program by adjusting agency and team efforts

Support SEO teammates with page optimization experiments,andA/B testing

Identifyand build business cases toexplore new opportunities andsupportSEOobjectives

Active collaboration with Global SEOand marketleads; including participation in seasonal planning,cross-functional initiatives, regular alignment meetings,sharing best practices,and culture building

Educate and buildallies in marketfor your functional areaof SEO and SEOholisticallyby communicating the impact ofyour actions on business objectives

Leverage data and team insights to build presentations

Regular participation in seasonal Digital Planning calendar workshops

Experiencewith digital marketing in a brand environment

Experience in eCommerce environment

Experience in leading a teamis a plus

Strongcommunication& negotiationskills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders atvariousorganizational levels both in person and remotely.

Ability to lead a team and foster an inclusive teamculture.

Ability to efficiently work in a cross-functional organization, ability to develop influential and collaborative relationships with stakeholders from digital and non-digital disciplines on all levels.

Creative and energetic team player who has a passion for traffic generation

Extensive experience with content marketing – strategy, production, outreach

Extensiveexperience with traffic analytics tools

Extensiveexperience with SEO tools: keyword tracking, keyword research,domainanalysis,crawland log analysis

Extensiveexperience with reporting tools

Very goodproject and account management skills

Fluent English, both verbally and written

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

4-7+ years of digital marketing experience in organic traffic generation, paid media, or content marketing in-house or at a leading traffic agency.

Proficiencywith some orall ofthese SEO tools/platforms: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools,Nightwatch, Moz/Stat,Semrush,Ahrefs, Screaming FrogSEO Spider,Adobeand Google Analytics

At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday.The working location of this position is Portland, OR.
