Job Description A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a HRIS Director. Position type: Full Time, Contract to Hire. Duration: 6–9 months Contract to Hire. Location: 100% Remote (CST or EST business hours).
As a HRIS Director, you will lead a high-impact transformation within the HRIS organization. This temporary leadership role will be responsible for preparing the HR Technology function for an upcoming Oracle HCM transformation, while evolving the team into an agile, product-oriented, change-ready organization that drives innovation, scalability, and operational excellence. The Director of HRIS will work in close partnership with IT, People Analytics, and HR stakeholders to deliver enterprise-level HR technology initiatives, optimize UKG Workforce Management, strengthen offshore support capabilities, improve teammate experience, and ensure alignment with strategic organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Transition the HR Technology team into an agile, product-oriented organization including sprint rituals, backlogs, release planning, and standard operating practices.
Build a change-ready culture with clear roles, competencies, and capability development across product ownership, configuration, integrations, QA, and release management.
Establish and operationalize service intake and triage processes with defined SLAs and prioritization criteria.
Scale and strengthen the offshore operating model (Team India) for HR Tech L2/L3 support, QA, reporting, and documentation standards.
Serve as executive owner for Oracle HCM preparation including scope, governance, vendor partnership, budget oversight, timeline tracking, risk management, and value realization.
Partner with IT to ensure readiness on cloud architecture, environments, security, non-production strategy, and infrastructure planning.
Oversee key enterprise integrations across iCIMS (Talent Acquisition), ServiceNow (HR Service Delivery / case & knowledge management), UKG Workforce Management (timekeeping), and UKG (Payroll and Core HR).
Lead cutover strategy, hyper-care planning, stabilization approach, and adoption frameworks (change management + enablement).
Co-author and implement HR data strategy with People Analytics including event sourcing, data definitions, lineage, access controls, and governance.
Ensure HR Tech solutions enable executive dashboards, self-service reporting, and predictive insights.
Qualifications
10+ years of HRIS/HR Technology leadership experience with proven success driving enterprise HR tech transformations, preparing for Oracle HCM implementations, managing complex integrations (UKG WFM/iCIMS/ServiceNow), leading offshore support models, and building agile, change-ready teams with strong intake/SLAs and stakeholder communication.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HRIS / HR Technology supporting enterprise-scale environments
Proven success driving HR technology transformations, including building agile/product-based operating models (sprints, backlogs, release management)
Strong experience leading preparation for Oracle HCM implementations, including scope, governance, timeline, and risk management
Hands-on expertise in HR system integrations and partnership with IT on cloud/SaaS architecture, security, and environments
Demonstrated ability to lead offshore/global support teams (India model), improving intake/triage, SLAs, capacity planning, and service delivery KPIs
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM implementations and large-scale HR technology transformations
Strong knowledge of UKG (Core HR/Payroll) and UKG Workforce Management (WFM/Timekeeping) optimization
Experience integrating HR platforms such as iCIMS (Talent Acquisition) and ServiceNow (HR Service Delivery / case management)
Familiarity with People Analytics, HR data strategy, BI/reporting tools, and data governance (metrics, lineage, access controls)
Proven ability in vendor management, including SOW development, contract negotiation, and budget stewardship
