About the Team
As a Sr. Director of TPM on Capital One’s Enterprise product & platform organization, you will help build solid platforms on mobile and web surfaces to deliver incredible customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex technical programs across platforms and services.
- Build and lead a world‑class team of technical program managers.
- Drive technology focused discussions with senior leadership.
- Communicate and collaborate across product, engineering, design, and data science.
- Execute projects with deep focus on accountability and results.
- Manage cross‑team collaboration across functions and reporting boundaries.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background building scalable platforms, products, or services.
- Proactive identification and mitigation of technical risks.
- 9+ years of experience in technical program management.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, problem solving, and influencing skills.
- Quantitative approach to problem solving and a systems thinker.
- Experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Agile delivery.
- Experience in highly regulated environment.
- ML experience is preferred (design, building, and deploying models).
Preferred Qualifications
- 9+ years designing and building data‑intensive solutions using distributed computing.
- At least 2 years with full ML development lifecycle.
- 5+ years building distributed systems & mobile products & platforms.
- ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, open source contributions, or patents.
- Master’s/MBA a plus.
