Overview We are seeking a
people-first Community Association Manager (CAM) Team Leader
who is passionate about
mentoring, stability, and building long-term relationships . This is a
working lead role , responsible for guiding a team of Community Managers while personally managing a
partial portfolio of key or newly onboarded communities . This role is ideal for a seasoned HOA professional who enjoys
coaching others, resolving complex situations calmly, and being a steady leader during challenging board or community interactions . We are intentionally looking for
long-term professionals
who value teamwork, in-person collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.
Work Model:
In-office during first 90 days; after 90 days, hybrid — 3 days in office / up to 2 days per week work from home.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & support Community Managers
Coach and mentor a team of 4-6 Community Association Managers
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings focused on performance, growth, and development
Help CAMs prioritize workloads and navigate board relationships
Step in directly when leadership presence or intervention is required
Serve as the first point of escalation for complex board, homeowner, or community issues
Resolve conflicts with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and confidence
Provide post-escalation coaching to ensure learning and prevent repeat issues
Ensure compliance across meetings, elections, ACCs, reporting, and collections
Reinforce company standards, processes, and expectations
Proactively identify risks or issues before they escalate
Promote strong organization, preparedness, and follow-through
Support consistent and effective use of internal systems
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and processes
Model professionalism, empathy, accountability, and integrity
Foster a supportive, high-expectation, team-oriented environment
Lead with clarity, confidence, and emotional intelligence
Actively contribute to a workplace culture where people want to stay and grow
Portfolio focus on primarily single-family HOA communities
No high-rise or downtown condo tower management
Qualifications Required
Active Georgia Real Estate License (CAM, Salesperson, or Broker)
4+ years of HOA / community association management experience
Proven ability to manage complex board and community relationships
Strong communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills
Comfortable having direct, honest coaching conversations
Demonstrated employment stability (average tenure of ~3-4 years preferred)
Preferred
Prior leadership, mentoring, or team-lead experience
Experience with CINC Systems (highly preferred)
Experience with Vantaca (acceptable alternative)
Industry certifications such as CMCA, AMS, or PCAM (nice to have, not required)
