Responsibilities The Account Executive for Favorite Daughter is responsible for expanding the specialty store distribution and achieving sales/shipping goals by account for the West Coast territory. The Account Executive will work closely with the Director of Sales to build and execute strategies to maximize sales, support and promote the brand where appropriate, and maintain optimal relationships with customers.
Strategy & Innovation
Partner with customers to communicate and execute brand positioning and key strategic initiatives.
Set objectives, clarify expectations, measure results, obtain feedback, and improve to achieve bottom-line financial results.
Cultivate new accounts and opportunities to expand business with existing accounts; identify and strategize to penetrate new markets and open new stores.
Operations & Results
Perform daily review of order management to ensure shipments, distributions and deliveries for each account are in system in a timely manner. Coordinate with teams to communicate extensions, shipping or pricing issues with accounts and execute timely fulfillment of all orders.
Partner with team to ensure proper credit, shipping, and bookings for each customer.
Monitor, assemble and analyze weekly sales, identify potential issues, and uncover new opportunities.
Devise strategies to drive profitable sales.
Cultivate, develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, focusing on their goals and business needs.
Team Work
Contribute positively to team dynamics and support the Director of Sales as needed for the total business.
Share best practices to help others be effective and reach business goals.
Work cross-functionally with various departments and inspire new ideas.
Support may include help managing samples for showroom and marketing purposes—both internally and for accounts.
Qualifications
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight timelines
Excellent communication skills
A hard-working team player with a collaborative mindset
Knowledge of the contemporary market and passion for the Favorite Daughter Brand
Existing relationships with specialty stores and deep knowledge of the territory
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented
Strong analytical skills and fluency in retail math
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3+ years of experience in wholesale apparel sales
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with SAP and NuORDER is a plus
Travel is required (approximately 20%)
Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $85,000–$98,000 plus bonus.
