
Position Summary
Reporting to the company’s Vice President – General Counsel, this role offers the opportunity to work in an in-house legal position supporting the business’s daily operations and long-term goals. The successful candidate will handle drafting, filing, and maintaining corporate records and resolutions; managing state entity registrations and consumer‑finance licenses; supporting due‑diligence efforts for acquisitions and divestitures; processing vendor invoices; and performing other duties as assigned. They will work closely with colleagues in the legal department, internal stakeholders in other departments, and outside legal counsel. As a member of a small, dynamic legal department, the Paralegal IV will assume a broad range of responsibilities and adapt to evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, file, and maintain corporate records and board resolutions
File and maintain state entity registrations and consumer finance licenses
Assist with due diligence requests and documentation related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
Process vendor invoices for approval and payment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Paralegal certification
At least five years of relevant experience, either in a law firm or in-house legal department
Strong drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Practical, business-minded approach to legal risk-assessment and problem-solving
Work Schedule
Monday & Friday: In-office or remote/flexible
