This role is instrumental in overseeing the strategic direction of sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management to support our high-growth biotech operations./ph3About You/h3pThe ideal candidate for this position holds extensive expertise in procurement, supply chain management, or related leadership roles, preferably within the biotechnology or a related industry, the candidate demonstrates exceptional strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and problem-solving skills. They excel in negotiation, communication, and relationship-building, particularly in negotiating complex contracts, and possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, along with advanced knowledge of procurement and supply chain management software. The candidate showcases strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, all while maintaining a deep interest in the biotechnology sector and a commitment to staying informed about industry advancements./ph3What Youll Do/h3olliDevelop and execute a comprehensive procurement and supply chain strategy that aligns with the companys objectives and growth plans./liliCollaborate with senior leadership to define strategic goals and implement initiatives to achieve them./liliLead supplier selection, evaluation, and relationship management efforts./liliNegotiate complex supplier agreements and contracts to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules./liliFoster strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and partners./liliOversee the analysis of procurement data and cost structures to identify opportunities for cost optimization and savings./liliCollaborate with finance teams to maintain accurate cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting./liliImplement strategic cost reduction initiatives while ensuring quality and performance standards./liliLead the end-to-end supply chain, from sourcing and procurement to distribution and logistics./liliIdentify opportunities for supply chain optimization, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation./liliCollaborate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely and cost-effective material flow./liliEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in procurement and supply chain processes./liliImplement robust risk management strategies to identify and mitigate supply chain risks effectively./liliStay informed about evolving industry regulations impacting procurement and supply chain management./liliManage and mentor the procurement and supply chain teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork./liliProvide strategic leadership and guidance to team members, facilitating their professional growth and development./li/olh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree with 15+ years of experience or a Post Graduate degree with 12+ years of experience in supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred, complemented by relevant certifications./liliDemonstrated experience managing procurement and supply chain activities across the full pharmaceutical value chain, including research, clinical development, and commercial operations./liliExtensive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related leadership roles, within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or related industry./liliExceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-informed decision-making./liliStrong negotiation skills, communication, and relationship-building capabilities, including experience negotiating complex contracts./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and advanced knowledge of procurement and supply chain management software./liliStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively./liliA deep interest in the biotechnology sector and a commitment to staying informed about industry advancements./li/ulpAt Eikon, employee compensation also includes bonus and equity compensation, in addition to several generous benefit programs, including:/pulli401k plan with company matching/liliMedical (premiums covered by Eikon at 95%), dental and vision insurance (premiums covered by Eikon at 100%)/liliMental health and wellness benefits/liliWeeklong summer and winter holiday shutdowns/liliGenerous paid time off and holiday policies/liliLife/ADD Insurance (premiums covered by Eikon at 100%) and optional supplemental employee-paid life/ADD policies/liliEnhanced parental leave benefit/liliDaily subsidized lunch program when on-site/li/ulpThe expected salary range for this role is $230,000 to $251,750 depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise./ppEikon is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment.
