About the Role MarinHealth is seeking a strategic Total Rewards Manager to design, lead, and evolve enterprise-wide compensation and benefits programs across our healthcare system.
This role is ideal for an experienced Total Rewards professional who wants ownership, influence, and visibility — not just administration. You will partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, and operational leaders to ensure MarinHealth remains competitive, equitable, compliant, and financially sustainable.
You will own salary structures, job architecture, incentive programs, benefits strategy, vendor relationships, and executive-level reporting while helping shape the future of our workforce experience.

What You’ll Do
Lead enterprise
Total Rewards strategy , including compensation and benefits programs
Design and manage
salary structures, pay ranges, and job architecture
Own and execute
annual merit and incentive planning cycles
Conduct
market pricing, salary benchmarking, and compensation analysis
Partner with Finance and Talent Acquisition on compensation modeling and offer strategy
Oversee enterprise
benefits programs
including medical, retirement, pension, leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation
Manage vendor relationships, renewals, negotiations, and RFP processes
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including
ERISA, ACA, FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation
Develop executive dashboards, workforce analytics, and reporting insights
Improve communication strategies to increase employee engagement with total rewards programs
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
5+ years of direct Total Rewards experience with ownership of compensation and benefits programs
Demonstrated experience designing and managing
salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs
Proven leadership of
annual merit cycles and market pricing initiatives
Experience overseeing enterprise
benefits programs and vendor partnerships
Strong data analysis, modeling, and executive-level reporting capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare Total Rewards experience
Workday Compensation and Benefits module experience
Benefits renewals, vendor negotiations, and RFP process involvement
Experience supporting union and non-union compensation structures
Proficiency with compensation platforms such as
MarketPay, PayScale, or similar tools
