Job Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Job Location: Westville, NJ The Account Coordinator serves as the key link between our respiratory care services and referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring seamless coordination of patient care services. The coordinator will collaborate closely with clinical and operational teams to support patient transitions, promote service offerings, and drive growth within the assigned territory.
Requirements
Active licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the applicable state, with a license in good standing (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
Current CPR certification (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home respiratory care (preferred)
Experience in both adult and pediatric respiratory care (preferred)
Specialized training in mechanical home ventilation is highly desirable
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to generate new patient referrals and expand market presence
Serve as the primary point of contact for physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
Educate referral sources on the company’s respiratory services, equipment, and patient care capabilities
Collaborate with the patients, family members and PromptCare’ s Intake and Sales teams to facilitate patient discharge and coordination of care in home
Educates patients and their family members about their therapy and supplies, as well as performing effective respiratory services to patients to facilitate discharge to the home
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Track referral trends and provide regular reports to leadership
Evaluates patient experiences for opportunities to improve customer satisfaction
Provides patients and family members with timely and accurate information and takes appropriate corrective action regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction
The ability to initiate and develop good working relationships with patients and family members is essential
Plans daily to be as efficient as possible with time management (e.g., minimizes travel time by planning routes ahead of time)
Ability to properly triage problems in the field in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies
Follow proper procedures for accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, take appropriate corrective actions
Maintains strong knowledge of PromptCare’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are applied consistently
Maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all times
Conducts activities with a mindset of delivering “white glove” service to the patients and family members
