Overview groundcover is a fast-growing B2D company that helps developers monitor cloud-native applications and scale their organization. We provide insights that enable teams to troubleshoot better and faster when trouble hits.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business opportunities with a heavy focus on outbound prospecting. Generate a minimum of 3 new meetings per week with decision makers and influencers, building a 3x pipeline against quota.

Build an account strategy and drive joint efforts with SDR and SA to close initial deals and expand groundcover’s footprint into different teams and additional business units.

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential clients and market trends.

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective solutions and meet client needs.

Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve sales targets.

Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns or issues.

Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics in CRM.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a sales hunter in a SaaS company with a focus on new logo acquisition.

At least 1 year of previous experience as a successful BDR/SDR.

Proven experience with the NA/USA market.

Proven and consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

Convert prospects to clients by fielding pre-qualified opportunities, conducting discovery and building relationships, and using best practices to maximize the sales process.

Experience in sales of Log Analytics/Monitoring/APM.

Experience in sales of cloud technologies – AWS/GCP/Azure.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Work Location Hybrid role in our Boston office.
