Overview

We’re looking for a Social Copywriter to join our NYC-based team, creating smart, engaging, platform-native content for a major financial services client. This role is for someone who understands how brands show up in feeds—how to stop the scroll, spark conversation, and translate complex topics into content people actually want to engage with. You’ll work closely with designers, strategists, and social leads to shape campaign ideas, daily content, and brand voice across social platforms. What You’ll Do

Write compelling, platform-specific copy for social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and emerging platforms) Concept and craft social-first ideas, captions, headlines, and campaign narratives Translate financial products and insights into clear, engaging, audience-friendly social content Collaborate with designers on visual-first storytelling and motion-led content Adapt brand voice across formats—short-form, long-form, reactive, and evergreen Participate in brainstorms, content planning, and client reviews Edit and optimize copy based on performance, feedback, and platform best practices What We’re Looking For

3–6 years of experience as a copywriter with a strong focus on social content Experience writing for financial services, fintech, or regulated industries Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and content formats A portfolio that shows social campaigns, always-on content, and sharp captions Ability to balance creativity with clarity, compliance, and accuracy Strong editing skills and attention to detail Nice to Have

Experience with paid social or performance-driven copy Comfort working with community managers and social strategists Familiarity with analytics and optimizing copy based on engagement metrics Working Model
