Sheboygan Town & Country Corp is excited to announce an opportunity for a Head Golf Professional at Riverdale Country Club.
Sheboygan Town & Country Corp operates Sheboygan Town & Country Club, a 27 hole daily fee golf facility with a full service golf shop (3 time Wisconsin Merchandiser of the Year - Public Golf Facility), bar, restaurant, and banquet facility; and operates Riverdale Country Club, an 18 hole daily fee golf facility with a bar, restaurant, and banquet facility.
Riverdale Country Club (Established in 1929) in Sheboygan, Wisconsin offers a picturesque 18-Hole Public Golf facility and an enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Riverdale Country Club is a member of the Northeast Wisconsin Golf Association (NEWGA).
The Head Golf Professional will be responsible for overseeing all golf operations at Riverdale Country Club. The Head Golf Professional will work closely with Tom Gerber, Head Golf Professional at Sheboygan Town & Country for 30 years, to ensure a smooth transition into this role.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years in the role of Head Golf Professional or 1st Assistant Professional, with experience in Event Management, Teaching, and Personnel Management.
Riverdale Country Club Golf Course is open typically from March through November. During Riverdale's off-season the Head Professional will work at the Town & Country Golf Shop. Town & Country Golf Shop is open year round, featuring (3) Golf Simulators, Club Fitting and an extensive selection of golf equipment. Town & Country is a (3) time Wisconsin Merchandiser of the Year Public Golf Course.
Experience Required Minimum of 2-3 years in the role of Head Golf Professional or 1st Assistant Professional, with experience in Event Management, Teaching, and Personnel Management.
Essential Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the golf shop, golf carts and golf range
Provide excellent customer service and promote club events and programs
Oversee and execute golf outings and club events
Coordinate with the Food and Beverage Manager for outings and club events
Coordinate and communicate with maintenance department
Run and grow league business, adult lesson programs, and junior lesson programs
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Assist in the hiring and training of staff with a focus on consistent friendly service
Complete weekly schedules based upon projected staffing needs
