Overview
Adkom is seeking a National Account Executive to join our industry-leading sales team. In this quota-carrying role, you’ll drive new business and manage relationships with agencies and brands at all levels. You’ll leverage your media experience—static, digital, and programmatic—and existing relationships to create, deliver, and execute impactful OOH campaigns. We’re looking for strategic thinkers with strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills who thrive in a collaborative, hybrid team environment.
Us!
Blip is a venture-backed, two-sided marketplace that enables on-demand access to digital billboards. Our platform allows advertisers to launch targeted campaigns directly to digital signs—anywhere, anytime—while providing supplemental income to thousands of media owners across the U.S. By democratizing access to DOOH, Blip empowers both brands and operators with flexible, data-driven solutions.
Adkom, a wholly owned subsidiary of Blip, is one of the largest national out-of-home (OOH) media operators. Adkom unifies fragmented OOH inventory by aggregating independent media providers into a single, streamlined buying experience. This allows national advertisers to achieve scalable, coast-to-coast reach through a simplified, consolidated solution.
Culture
We obsess over delivering a superior customer value
We take full ownership of delivering that value
We dive deep into data without getting stuck in analysis paralysis
We work well together, but challenge each other respectfully and using data/logic
We hold ourselves and our teams accountable to deliver results
We are always curious about why things are done a certain way and continue to challenge ourselves and the status quo.
What You’ll Do
Drive new and incremental revenue by identifying, developing, and closing national brand and agency opportunities while expanding spend across existing accounts.
Own and grow a national book of business by building trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at brands and agencies.
Create and deliver compelling, data-driven sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations that align Adkom’s media solutions to client objectives.
Lead on-site and virtual needs assessments to uncover client challenges and recommend customized, high-impact advertising strategies.
Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Sales Support, and external media owners to ensure flawless campaign execution and on-time delivery.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through disciplined prospecting, strategic upselling, and account growth initiatives.
Support full-cycle account management, including coordination on billing, collections, and issue resolution to maintain strong client satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of relevant media sales experience required; national sales experience in static OOH, DOOH, or pDOOH to brands and agencies strongly preferred.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, including consistent new business generation.
Established relationships with OOH-focused agencies in New York, Los Angeles, or Chicago preferred.
Strong understanding of agency holding companies, including organizational structures, client rosters, and media planning and buying processes.
Solid knowledge of diverse OOH environments and products, with the ability to clearly articulate their value to brands and agencies.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment
Comfortable adapting to evolving technology and systems; CRM experience a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
