The Federal Customer Account Representative supports the Federal field sales organization while serving as a key point of continuity for assigned customer territories. This role focuses on pipeline support, customer engagement, post-sale coordination, and ongoing account health-helping ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for federal customers throughout the account lifecycle. This position works in close partnership with Federal Account Executives, partners, and internal delivery teams to support growth, retention, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Field Sales & Account Support
Work jointly with the Field Account Executives to drive pipeline and close revenue across assigned territories Assist with lead qualification, discovery support, and early-stage customer engagement Coordinate meetings, demos, briefings, and follow-ups with government stakeholders Assist in the development of sales documentation, quotes, and account materials Maintain accurate account, opportunity, and activity records in CRM systems Identify expansion or upsell signals and route opportunities to the appropriate field seller Key Responsibilities: Inside Sales Activities
Drive revenue opportunities based around targeted sales campaigns such as recapture of lapsed support agreements or targeted product campaigns Engage inbound inquiries and conduct targeted outreach within assigned Federal accounts Reinforce solution value aligned to agency mission outcomes Key Responsibilities: Customer Success & Account Continuity
Serve as a consistent point of contact for assigned customers alongside the field seller Support customer onboarding and internal handoffs following contract award Conduct regular check-ins to drive adoption and customer satisfaction Identify risks to account health and escalate issues proactively Support renewal preparation by reinforcing value and coordinating with sales and delivery teams Gather customer feedback and share insights with sales, product, and leadership stakeholders Qualifications: Required
1-3+ years of experience in inside sales, account support, customer success, or related roles Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple Federal accounts and priorities simultaneously Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational skills Must be a US Citizen Must live with in the greater DMV area with reasonable commute to the Chantily office Qualifications: Preferred
Experience supporting Federal or public sector sales teams Familiarity with Federal procurement environments and partner-led sales motions Experience working with primes, system integrators, or channel partners Exposure to SaaS, cloud, and/or Geospatial technologies Key Skills & Attributes
