
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development and execution of concepts and designs for all marketing channels as well as point of sale.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
DESIGN
Design and execute effective and on-brand creative for direct mail, point of sale, internal marketing, emails, web pages, social media, banner ads and other digital elements used to market Fielmann USA brands Ensure aesthetics are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams during all stages to ensure consistency of branding across all customer touchpoints Present concepts and design solutions for review and approval Conduct research and competitive analysis to support concepts Thoroughly review work and execute accurately within creative standards Propose new ideas to inspire art direction PRODUCTION
Monitor key production dates from initial direction through release and meet all established deadlines Prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines in a process-driven environment Ensure design standards are consistently followed Complete changes from edits and internal feedback accurately and timely MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of graphic design experience Minimum associate degree in Graphic Design, Communication Arts or related program Advanced knowledge of Adobe graphic programs with an emphasis on Adobe editing suites including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Demonstrated experience in digital design with a digital portfolio Able to edit HTML email templates that render consistently across multiple clients and browsers Solid understanding of four-color printing process Excellent graphic design/layout/typography skills Strong conceptual skills Attention to detail Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting different deadlines Collaborative personality and the ability to work within a team Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Able to thrive within a fast-paced environment ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.) Ability to see (Near, Distance, Color, and Depth Perception) Able to evaluate color Able to lift 10 to 20 pounds Able to view/read computer screen for extended periods of time Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights, and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development
