Position Summary This position is responsible for owning the end-to-end commissions process and serves as the primary partner connecting Sales, Finance, and Accounting. This role will oversee the review of monthly commissions calculations to ensure accurate payouts and provide insights that strengthen plan design and performance. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and driven to learn, with strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end monthly commissions process, leading the review, validation, and delivery of detailed commission calculations and ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely payouts across all sales teams
Partner with Sales and Finance leadership to co-lead the annual quota setting process, providing data-driven recommendations, historical analysis, and scenario modeling.
Manage ongoing quota and plan oversight, ensuring quota changes, role movements, territory updates, and mid-year adjustments are accurately modeled, implemented, and communicated to impacted teams.
Serve as a trusted finance partner to sales reps, managers, and directors by providing clear, timely, and well-structured responses to ad hoc requests regarding commission statements, payout drivers, and plan mechanics
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and HR on process improvements, data alignment, and policy updates related to commissions and sales compensation.
Maintain and monitor daily and weekly Power BI sales reports to ensure data accuracy and timeliness. Partner with IT developers to keep dashboards updated and implement necessary adjustments.
Calculate and manage the monthly commissions accrual balance, and prepare journal entries along with detailed supporting schedules for Accounting

Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in commissions, financial analysis, accounting, sales operations, or related roles
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (emphasis on accuracy and timeliness)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial or technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Ability to manage large datasets
