Superintendent – Commercial Roofing
We are a leading commercial and industrial roofing contractor with a strong reputation for quality, safety, and performance across the Western U.S. We specialize in new construction, re-roofing, tenant improvements, and preventative maintenance for a wide range of commercial properties.
We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Superintendent
to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a deep understanding of commercial roofing systems and job site management.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all on-site roofing activities and crews
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and company standards
Manage daily job site operations, including scheduling, inspections, and quality control
Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow
Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage to maintain project efficiency
Resolve on-site issues and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
Conduct regular site walkthroughs to ensure workmanship meets specifications
Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development and safety awareness
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of roofing systems ( TPO , PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, etc.)
Proven leadership and team management skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
