
SR Director of Food and Nutrition – Charlotte, NC
Company: Compass Healthcare (Morrison Healthcare, a division of Compass Group)
Salary: Perezida: $105,000–$120,000 per year with up to $35,000 bonus potential and relocation assistance.
Job Summary
The Sr. Director of Dining Services oversees day‑to‑day foodservice operations. You will manage a team of employees, cultivate client relationships, drive profitability, and foster talent development. This position is located in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the department within the approved budget, maximizing client value.
- Ensure the food offered is of superior quality.
- Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients and internal departments.
- Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team.
- Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate dining services with the facility’s operational plan.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years of proven leadership experience.
- Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management, including inventory and purchasing knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, certa
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience desirable.
- ServSafe® certification a plus.
