We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work 100% remotely in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, proforma, M&A, P&L analysis, and multi-year forecasting. Experience in the health insurance industry is highly preferred. This role requires 10+ years of experience and proficiency in technical skills including intermediate/advanced Excel, Oracle Smartview, and ERP systems.
As a Senior Director of FP&A, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including:
- Developing and executing the company's financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Creating and maintaining financial models to support decision-making, including proforma, M&A, and multi-year forecasting.
- Conducting P&L analysis to understand the drivers of business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies and prepare financial presentations for the board of directors.
- Managing the implementation and integration of Oracle Smartview and ERP systems.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, proforma, M&A, and P&L analysis.
- Health insurance industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in intermediate/advanced Excel including pivot tables, sumif, vlookup, etc. commands, and formatting for executive reporting.
- Experience with Oracle Smartview and ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification (such as CFA or CPA) is preferred.
