Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an entry level fabricator to join their team. As a fabricator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various projects.
Job Title: Entry Level Fabricator Location: Orange, CA Pay Range: $21/hr Shift: 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
What's the Job?
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
Observe and assist experienced fabricators with layout and fit up.
Utilize basic measuring tools in the fabrication process (measuring tapes, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Cut parts accurately on the shear and bandsaw.
Properly clean and de-burr parts to remove contamination before welding.
Learn quality control standards, measurements, and documentation procedures.
What's Needed?
Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, charts & tables.
Basic fabrication experience.
Able to load, unload and secure product for transport.
Accurately measure, calculate and record material usage and time tracking by project.
