Job Summary As the Elizabeth Street Cafe Barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and accurately, you will ensure excellent customer service. Serve customers with hospitality, kindness, and approachability, always explaining the menu to match each guest’s needs.
Essential Job Functions
Prepare all menu items to the best of your ability, always striving to improve and serve an incredible product.
Keep a clean and tidy workspace, following cleaning checklists closely.
Be a team player and work well with other employees.
Be organized and act quickly while retaining self‑composure.
Work with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient food and beverage service.
Enthusiastically welcome each guest, observing tone and body language at all times.
Handle pressure and multitasking, be self‑motivated and identify needs without direction.
Supportive Job Functions
Make guests feel appreciated, seen, and taken care of through your actions.
Work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to company standards at all times.
Possess an understanding of the menu and food knowledge.
Other duties as assigned.
