Job Description
Job Description
Showroom Sales Representative (Inside/Outside Sales)
The Bottom Line Up Front:
If you are looking for a job where you stand behind a counter and scroll on your phone until a customer interrupts you,
do not apply.
We are hiring a
Sales Hunter
for Landmark Decor. We sell high-end wall panels, PVC marble, and outdoor furniture. These are high-ticket items, which means high commissions—but only if you are willing to work for them. We need a closer who is comfortable generating their own leads, working with contractors, and driving revenue.
Compensation
Base Pay:
$18-20/hr (Depends on experience) – This is just to keep the lights on.
Commission:
5%
on all in-store sales
10%
on in-home sales, measurements, & projects (The real money is here)
Earning Potential:
Our top performers don't worry about their hourly rate; they worry about their closing rate. Uncapped earning potential.
The Role
This is a hybrid Inside/Outside sales role. You will be based in our showroom, but your mindset should be "business development."
Attack the Market:
You aren’t just waiting for walk-ins. You are calling local contractors, connecting with interior designers, and following up on every lead in the CRM until they buy or die.
Consultative Selling:
You aren't scanning barcodes. You are helping customers design their dream spaces, explaining technical product specs, and building enough value to close $5k–$20k orders.
Go Where the Money Is:
You will conduct in-home measurements and consultations. If you want the 10% commission, you go to the customer’s house and close the deal at their kitchen table.
Pipeline Management:
You are responsible for your own book of business. You follow up on quotes relentlessly.
Showroom Maintenance:
Keep the displays looking sharp so the product sells itself when you bring clients in.
Who Fits This Role?
The "Car Sales" Mentality:
You’re used to performance-based pay. You know that if you don't close, you don't eat steak.
The "Insurance/Real Estate" Hustle:
You know how to network. You aren't afraid to hand out business cards or pick up the phone.
Thick Skin:
You don't get discouraged by a "No." You just move to the next prospect.
Schedule:
Must be available on
Saturdays
(This is when homeowners shop. If you want weekends off, this is the wrong industry).
Requirements
Proven track record in sales (Car sales, Solar, Insurance, Real Estate, or Commission-based Retail).
Ability to read people and pivot your sales pitch instantly.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for in-home visits).
Computer literacy (CRM, Order Entry, Email).
Why Apply?
Sell a Physical Product:
Unlike insurance, you are selling a beautiful, tangible product that customers love to show off.
Fast Sales Cycle:
unlike Real Estate, you don't wait 45 days to close. You can close deals daily.
Growth:
We are a growing company. Show us you can sell, and you’ll write your own ticket here.
