Core Responsibilities
Support of Workstreams: Assist in the execution of standard retail marketing creative development and ad-hoc projects, ensuring cross-functional alignment and timelines.
Strategic Escalation: Manage intake of day-to-day client requests and expectations, escalating to senior Business Leadership when appropriate.
Proactive Project Management: Apply understanding of agency processes and workflow to move projects with minimal friction.
Account Operations & Maintenance: Maintain operational health of the account, manage meeting invites, status documents, project tracking and financial billing.
Senior Team Support: Assist senior Business Leadership with client needs, IAT involvement and strategic planning.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure internal collaboration is aligned and executed to agency standards.
Legal & Quality Control: Work with internal and client legal teams to ensure materials are legally cleared and accurate to brand standards.
Category and Competitive Insight: Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape and author a monthly competitive newsletter for Clients and interagency teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
Professional Experience: 3+ years of relevant professional experience. Retail marketing experience preferred.
Agency Experience: 2+ years of agency experience with an understanding of agency processes and workflow.
Industry Knowledge: Advertising industry knowledge or experience preferred.
Proactive Initiative: Self-starter with ability to anticipate account needs and take ownership of tasks.
Ambitious Drive: High energy with a drive to improve output and exceed objectives.
Intellectual Curiosity: Curiosity about consumer culture and emerging marketing trends to bring fresh perspectives.
Operational Excellence: Strong organizational skills with focus on project tracking, status updates, financial oversight and server maintenance.
Supportive Mindset: Collaborative style and ability to support senior leaders on high-stakes workstreams.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail Oriented: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality of all work.
Salary The salary range for this position is $66,300. Compensation will depend on factors including market considerations, location, tenure, and qualifications.
