About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Football Communications to serve as the senior leader responsible for shaping, protecting, and advancing the team's football narrative. This role is pivotal in overseeing all football-related media strategy, day-to-day communications operations, and proactive storytelling across various platforms. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, developing and executing a comprehensive football communications strategy that aligns with organizational goals. They will also be the primary advisor on media strategy, crisis communication, and competitive positioning, and will lead messaging within all NFL and team guidelines. The VP will manage a team of communication staff, ensuring their development and compliance with all team and league rules.

Applicants for the Vice President of Football Communications position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' of progressive experience in sports or corporate communications, with a preference for those who have worked in the NFL or at a professional or collegiate level. The role requires a deep understanding of NFL operations, culture, and media landscape, as well as exceptional writing, strategic counseling, and relationship-building skills.
