
Parts And Accessories Specialist
Parts and accessories specialists are responsible for ensuring customers have access to the correct parts and accessories for their boating needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about delighting customers and achieving or exceeding their volume and profit goals through assisting customers in their buying decisions. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and accessories for their boats, ensuring they are informed about product features, compatibility and pricing. Provide an exceptional experience for all customers. Finalize transactions by properly closing each sale with accurate paperwork, including using suggestive selling of accessories that benefit the customer. Maintain inventory of parts and accessories to ensure accuracy, control shrinkage, and obsolescence. Manage product reordering to ensure customer needs are met. Maintain neat and orderly displays, with accessories and supplies well merchandised to present a professional appearance to help increase sales. Process customer orders accurately, track order status, and ensure timely delivery or pickup of products. Maintain accurate records of orders and sales. Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Analyzes operations and finds ways to increase efficiency, sales and profitability of the parts department. Stay informed about products, industry trends, and innovations in marine parts and accessories. Support store in the execution of successful boat shows, store and off-site sales/customer events, including accessory sales as appropriate. Any other duties as assigned. Skills
Knowledge of marine parts, accessories, and equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills with ability to resolve customer inquiries. Ability to achieve or exceed revenue and profit goals. Basic computer knowledge/ skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Qualifications / Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in marine services is a plus. Previous experience in parts sales, marine service, or a related field is preferred. Physical Demands
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Communicating with others to exchange information. Hearing. Talking. Seeing. Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Work Environment
