Job Title
Provides daily quote support on any non-Plan and Spec projects for RSC equipment lines, such as: Carrier, SRP, Modine, Bosch, Peerless, Friedrich, and Renewaire utilizing WebUI and QuotePro software. Sales support will include quoting of non-specified private jobs, replacement opportunities, product application & selection assistance, product substitution, literature retrieval, order status requests, submittal requests as appropriate for non-specified quotes, order tracking and logistics, and other support functions as appropriate for the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for providing accurate and timely quotes for equipment and accessories on non-plan and spec opportunities from various sources including call-in, walk-in, email, phone, and any other methods. Supporting outside/inside sales staff inside area of expertise as required. Logs all project opportunities on Smartsheet. Fully knowledgeable in the WebUI system in order to perform stock status searches, product substitution recommendations, price quote requests, etc. Fulfills customer sales literature/submittal requests on specified quotes. Provides feedback to improve processes and procedures. Participates in necessary training classes to acquire and share product and application knowledge. Provides superior customer service in all written, phone and in-person communications. Performs order-entry on an accommodation basis to the extent that it does not detract from total customer support. Insures the accomplishment of any other customer service issue as it pertains to equipment sales. Supervisory Responsibility: NA Decision Making Responsibility/Authority: Receives general direction working from established policies and objectives. Employee plans and carries out assignments and uses resources to resolve most conflicts that arise. Completed work is checked only to determine feasibility and compatibility with other work, or effectiveness in meeting objectives of the unit. Knowledge and Experience: 2 Year Associate Degree or relevant HVAC experience Familiar with HVAC products and their basic application Detail oriented, accurate, proficient with math Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel & Outlook) Self-motivated, and exhibits positive attitude Possesses above average communication skills Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
