Qualifications
BA or MA, Graduate from an Orientation & Mobility program.
Current National Certification for Orientation & Mobility (COMS)
Previous school experience preferred
Responsibilities
Work directly with students with visual impairments (blind, low vision, or other visual limitations) to help them navigate their environment and travel independently
Work as part of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to the IEP and providing consultative support to school staff, parents, etc.
Complete assessments as requested and appropriate
Travel among District schools
Flexibility in scheduling
