Head of Human Resources; reporting to CEO - Healthcare / Medical Device Company with under 100 EE, growing rapidly - Currently an individual contributor with opportunity to build a team as the company grows Location:
Coral Springs, Florida 125-150K with 10% bonus We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to continue building our HR function. As we anticipate rapid growth, this role will be critical in shaping the company's culture, developing strategic initiatives, and ensuring that our team members thrive in a supportive and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of HR best practices, preferably in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities
HR Strategy Development and Implementation:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company\'s overall business goals and objectives. Create a comprehensive HR roadmap to support the company’s rapid growth and scalability.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
Design and oversee an effective recruitment process to attract top talent in the healthcare industry. Implement robust onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly and effectively.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Performance Management and Development:
Develop and manage performance evaluation processes to ensure continuous feedback and professional growth. Implement training and development programs to enhance employees’ skills and career progression.
Compliance and Policy Development:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures that reflect best practices and legal requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Conduct regular market analysis to ensure the company remains competitive in its offerings.
Organizational Development and Culture:
Champion the company’s mission, vision, and values to build a strong organizational culture. Lead initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable. Proven track record of building HR functions from scratch in a rapidly growing environment. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
