is hiring a Site Director for summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout San Diego County. The Site Director provides leadership to ensure campers have a safe, engaging learning experience with a focus on developing skills, enjoying the game, and valuing personal accountability. The program provides equipment, training, and curriculum; you provide leadership and a positive camp environment. We offer a range of positions from Coach to Site Director for ages 4 through 13.
Responsibilities
Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers Supervise, manage, and motivate staff and campers to deliver a high-quality camp experience Execute Padres Baseball Camps Curriculum daily under the direction of the Site Director Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games Highlight teachable moments and encourage fun each day of camp Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to uphold the Padres Camps reputation
Qualifications
Be prepared to make a 10 week commitment, Monday–Friday, approximately eight hours per day Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026 Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability May be responsible for driving a rented cargo van and having a safe space to park it (fuel cost covered for work/camp use only) Familiarity with the basic fundamentals of baseball Experience and comfort with technology to ensure efficient camp operations

Interview Process
Receive an invitation to complete a one-way interview Complete a 15‑minute virtual interview with the local market leader Complete a 20‑minute virtual interview with the Executive Director
Compensation
Pay is based on skill level and experience. The weekly range for this position is $1,360 to $1,600 per week.
