What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Negotiate single case agreements (SCAs) with behavioral health facilities and providers to meet urgent member needs
Establish and maintain relationships with providers to support the employer’s national network strategy
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Claims Operations and Clinical Operations
Analyze financial and operational impacts of proposed agreements to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Draft and finalize contracting agreements that meet both internal and external expectations
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in provider contracting or behavioral health operations
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of policy and procedures related to behavioral operations and supporting operating systems
