What you'll do

Asset Protection: Possesses knowledge of asset protection policies, practices and guidelines, environmental health and safety laws and regulations. Supports facility security staff and monitors and maintains access control equipment.

Employee Health and Safety: Possesses knowledge of OSHA guidelines, compliance safety and food safety auditing processes, regulatory inspection processes, emergency evacuations plans. Accesses organizational resources to address health and safety hazards; supports implementation of relevant industry-specific and OSHA guidelines; highlights business risks to facility management; conducts audits and prepares audit reports; acts as an interface for workers' compensation issues; analyzes and reports on types of claims.

Partnership Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, engagement techniques, and management tools. Owns the delivery of project activity and tasks; supports process updates; demonstrates functional knowledge of the supported business unit/organization.

Data and Digital Literacy: Knowledge of data collection modes, techniques and tools; ability to gather, interpret, and report data; analyze data across systems; apply data quality checks; identify automation opportunities (e.g., RPA, AI, cloud apps).

EHS Training Delivery: Knowledge of training methodologies and lifecycle; supports instructors or learning facilitators; solicits participant feedback; leverages training lifecycles; maintains repositories of benchmarks and best practices; explains processes to contractors.

Influential Communication: Knowledge of verbal/nonverbal communication, stakeholder relations, and clear, credible communication. Organizes thoughts, presents to teams and partners, uses data to support recommendations, listens actively, and helps build professional networks.

Process Improvement: Understands key processes; identifies gaps; suggests improvements; participates in investigations and root cause analysis; leads investigations under supervision when appropriate.

Environmental Protection: Knowledge of environmental policies and applicable laws; demonstrates awareness of regulations; supports Walmart environmental policies; contributes to targets and promotes environmental issues.

Operational Excellence: Knowledge of processes, root cause analysis, SOPs/OBW; explains functions and interdependencies; locates SOP/OBW information and describes core tasks.

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners; manages priorities, deadlines, and progress; communicates updates; adapts to change.

Minimum Qualifications Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

6 months experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year's work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field (e.g., Military, Public Safety, Compliance, Criminal Justice).

Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive; work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field (e.g., Military, Public Safety, Compliance, Criminal Justice).
