What you’ll do Asset Protection
Possesses knowledge of Asset protection policies, practices and guidelines, environmental health and safety laws and regulations. Carries out responsibilities including supporting facility security staff and monitoring/maintaining access control equipment.
Employee Health and Safety
Possesses knowledge of OSHA guidelines, compliance, safety and food safety auditing processes, regulatory inspection processes, emergency evacuations plans. Carries out responsibilities including accessing organizational resources to address health and safety hazards, supporting implementation of industry-specific and OSHA guidelines, and highlighting business risks to facility management.
Maintains a directory of emergency response personnel; summons emergency services as necessary; conducts compliance safety and food safety audits and reviews; conducts daily audits of buildings and food safety audits; creates audit reports; acts as an associate interface for workers’ compensation issues; analyzes and reports claim types; obtains necessary records.
Partnership & Collaboration
Possesses knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, engagement techniques, management effectiveness tools and methods. Carries out responsibilities including owning delivery of project activity, supporting process updates, solving simple business issues, and demonstrating functional knowledge of the supported business unit.
Data & Digital Literacy
Possesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques and tools, digital applications and systems, and data governance. Carries out responsibilities including gathering and interpreting data, analyzing and creating reports, leveraging technology for transactional activities, reviewing data across systems for completeness, applying data quality checks, and suggesting automation opportunities (e.g., RPA, AI, cloud-based apps).
EHS Training Delivery
Possesses knowledge of training methodologies, content development processes, and lifecycles. Carries out responsibilities including supporting instructors, soliciting feedback from participants, utilizing training lifecycles, maintaining repositories of benchmarks and best practices, and explaining processes to contractors.
Influential Communication
Possesses knowledge of verbal/nonverbal behaviors, communication techniques in ambiguous situations, and relationship-building skills. Carries out responsibilities including organizing thoughts, presenting credibly to teams and partners, using data to articulate results, active listening, and building professional networks.
Process Improvement
Possesses knowledge of process improvement and responsible for supporting its implementation in assigned area, understanding key processes, identifying gaps, suggesting improvements, participating in investigations and root cause analyses, and leading incident investigations under supervision.
Environmental Protection
Possesses knowledge of environmental policies and laws. Carries out responsibilities including awareness of regulations, receiving/regulating inquiries, implementing Walmart environmental policies, contributing to targets, and promoting environmental issues within the organization.
Operational Excellence
Possesses knowledge of organizational processes, root-cause analysis, SOPs/OBW. Carries out responsibilities including explaining department functions, clarifying inter-department relevance to strategy, describing interdependence of support and line functions, identifying operational functions, locating SOP/OBW information, and listing typical tasks.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; communicates progress and adapts to change.
