What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and efficiency
Clean and inspect rental equipment, including checking fluid levels
Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
Availability to work in a moderately risky environment requiring special safety precautions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or related fields
Familiarity with equipment inspection and maintenance
Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain it
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
