Responsibilities What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
Clean and inspect equipment, including checking fluid levels
Prepare rental invoices and handle equipment returns
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs for equipment handling
Qualifications What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
Willingness to follow safety precautions and use protective gear as needed
Availability to participate in continuous education programs
Preferred Qualifications How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Prior experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with rental equipment or related logistics
Ability to drive a forklift (certification available upon employment)
Experience using technology for inventory management
Strong communication skills for educating customers on products and services
