
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to create precise jewelry components, jigs, fixtures, holders, and finished products
Work with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360) to interpret designs and produce parts
Ensure products meet the high-quality standards expected in fine jewelry manufacturing
Collaborate closely with designers and other team members to ensure smooth production flow
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring adherence to specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and team needs
Plan, create, develop, adjust, and maintain 3D CAD models for clients' jewelry production requirements based on written instructions, images, and finished models
Maintain and organize files
Proactively work cross-departmentally to ensure harmony between design and production
Prototyping digital models into the physical realm; e.g. 3D printing
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet deadlines and service goals
Assist with special projects as needed
Work onsite Monday to Friday 9AM-6PM in Midtown Manhattan
Qualifications
Min. tertiary degree holder
Relevant software proficiency, Fusion360 required, Rhino, SolidWorks, NX, Z-Brush, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, KeyShot, a plus
Fluent/business level English, additional languages a plus (Polish)
Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal skills and good attitude
High degree of aesthetic sensibility
Bench jeweler/metalsmithing/jewelry industry experience a plus
Position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience
