
Order Management Specialist
We are seeking an Order Management Specialist to support our ERP transition from an Order Management perspective. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and updating new ERP systems with data from current ERP systems, validating, and entering data such as purchase orders, product structures, quantities, cost, price, and labor. Responsibilities
Support the organization's transition to the new Oracle ERP system from an Order Management process perspective. Facilitate and execute the migration of data from the current ERP to Oracle, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Validate, translate, and enter key data sets including purchase orders, PO creation via Excel templates, product structures, configurations, quantities, costing, pricing, labor inputs, and related operational data. Identify data inconsistencies and proactively resolve or escalate issues to ensure clean records before system go-live. Assist with order entry tasks as needed to maintain business continuity during the transition. Maintain high accuracy while entering, auditing, and updating order-related data in both legacy and new ERP environments. Ensure alignment of order flows, product data, and documentation between functional teams and ERP project groups. Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and ITto troubleshoot discrepancies and ensure process alignment. Serve as a hands-on resource for identifying process gaps during the transition and propose practical solutions. Challenge assumptions, ask clarifying questions, and support continuous process improvement. Essential Skills
Exceptional attention to detail and process-focused. Self-directed and independent, able to work with minimal supervision. Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Efficient multi-tasker capable of handling simultaneous data entry, validation, and issue resolution. Team-oriented collaborator, comfortable working with multiple departments. 2+ years of Order Entry experience. Experience with ERP Transition (Oracle experience preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Strong typing skills (35+ wpm). Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in Order Entry, Order Management, or related operations roles. Experience supporting ERP transitions or implementations. Ability to organize workload and adapt quickly to system changes and implementation timelines. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Adrian, MI.
