Job Title Director, People Partnering Position : Director, People Partnering – Global Occupier Services (West Region) Job Description Summary Job Description The Director, People Partnering, West Region serves as a strategic People Partner to Global Occupier Services (GOS) executive leadership, service line and platform leaders, and senior management teams across the West Region. This role provides forward‑looking talent consultation and hands‑on support to enable business growth, strengthen leadership capability, and deliver scalable people solutions aligned with GOS strategy. As a trusted advisor, this leader partners closely with the Head of People Partnering for GOS, regional and global stakeholders, and the broader People team to support growth initiatives, transformation efforts, and the evolution of the GOS West Region. The role is critical to ensuring talent strategies are aligned with business priorities and executed consistently across the region while supporting global integration. Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Partnership
Serve as a strategic People Partner to GOS leadership in the West Region, providing guidance on talent strategy, workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership effectiveness. Lead talent initiatives aligned to GOS growth priorities, ensuring integration with global talent strategies and People COE programs. Translate business strategy into people priorities, proactively identifying talent risks and opportunities within key service lines and growth sectors.
HR Delivery & Advisory
Partner in the execution and delivery of value‑added HR services, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, compensation planning, and change management. Act as a primary point of contact for HR‑related processes, coaching, and issue resolution for assigned leadership teams and service line organizations. Collaborate with People COEs, legal, and business leaders to ensure consistent application of policy, governance, and best practices.
Talent Management & Capability Building
Drive strategic talent management initiatives, including leadership development, talent incubators, and succession pipelines, ensuring clear success metrics and accountability. Partner with learning and development stakeholders to build or enhance tools and programs focused on developing critical talent within priority service lines. Support strategies to proactively attract and build warm talent pipelines for critical roles and skill segments, leveraging partnerships across the GOS People network. Embed a culture of inclusion, belonging, and engagement by partnering with leaders to integrate inclusive practices into talent programs, leadership development, and succession planning.
Workforce Analytics & Insight
Partner with People Analytics to leverage data, dashboards, and insights that inform leadership decision‑making. Use workforce data to assess talent health, identify gaps, and guide proactive workforce planning and segmentation efforts.
Compensation & Enterprise Collaboration
Partner with Compensation leadership on benchmarking, job architecture, title mapping, and compensation program reviews. Collaborate across geographies, service lines, and functions within Cushman & Wakefield to address shared talent risks and opportunities.
Region Enablement & Transformation
Support initiatives and projects that advance the GOS West Region, including new service offerings, transformation programs, and integration efforts. Identify opportunities to strengthen global community, engagement, and connectivity through innovative onboarding, induction, and integration practices. Anticipate emerging issues or improvement opportunities and develop practical, scalable solutions that enhance business outcomes and People processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including strategic People Partnering. Prior people management experience preferred. Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders in both virtual and in‑person environments. Proven ability to operate effectively in a complex, global, matrixed organization. Results‑driven self‑starter with strong judgment, discretion, and executive presence. Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies, including leveraging digital and social platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong partnerships at all levels. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and the broader Office suite; experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus.
