Position:
Volunteer Member - Planning Commission
Location:
Syracuse City Hall, Council Chambers, 1979 W 1900 S, Syracuse, UT 84075
Meeting Schedule:
1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month starting at 6:00 PM
Compensation:
$50 per meeting
Responsibilities
Attend regular meetings scheduled for the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 6:00 PM.
Participate in discussions and decision-making regarding development proposals, land use, zoning regulations, and other planning matters.
Review and evaluate materials related to planning and zoning applications and present recommendations to the City Council.
Engage with fellow members and the public to ensure transparent and inclusive planning processes.
Qualifications
Must be a resident of Syracuse City.
Interest in urban planning, zoning, or community development.
Ability to review planning materials and make informed decisions.
Strong communication skills and willingness to engage in collaborative discussions.
