Position Associate Brand Manager, Curlsmith

What you will be doing Associate Brand Manager
helps to drive success and consumer love for the Curlsmith brand in the U.S. This role will work alongside the Sr. Brand Manager, US Marketing, Curlsmith, helping to plan, organize, and direct marketing activities to achieve short-range and long-range business objectives. Candidates must be creative, highly organized, detail-oriented with exceptional communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Marketing and Business Planning:
Assist in the development of marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, win strategies, schedules, and action assignments.
Work closely with marketing colleagues to bring these plans to life, with clear objectives, goals, schedules and assignments.
Go to Market Support:
Work with Sr. Brand Manager to develop and execute 360 marketing plans to support the Curlsmith brand in the US Market.
Build and maintain detailed marketing calendar that consolidates all marketing priorities and activations, and work closely with Integrated Marketing, Creative, and other teams to bring these plans to life.
Monitor campaign performance to ensure commercial goals are met/exceeded.
Sales Support:
Work closely with Sales to facilitate the selling process, including retailer strategy, pricing analysis, reading and following up on call reports, PowerPoint presentations, market data, samples and artwork.
Partner with Sales, Trade and Integrated Marketing to ensure in-store and online experiences are seamless for consumers.
P&L Support:
Partner with the Sr. Brand Manager to drive profitable growth and ensure the long-term health of the brand. Responsibilities include managing the selling expense budget and conducting ongoing business performance reviews to evaluate SKU profitability and proper positioning within the Curlsmith portfolio.
Market Analysis:
Monitor product movement and market share using POS data and sources like Nielsen, Circana, and Profitero.
Provide ongoing strategic and tactical recommendations to management.
Conduct regular store checks and assess competitive offerings to stay informed on marketplace trends.
Create communication tools (e.g., charts and graphs) for sales, management, and customer presentations.
Forecasting:
Work with Finance, Sales and the Sr. Brand Manager to develop annual sales forecasts.
Align with the Demand Planning Analyst and Sales to issue latest estimates to update the forecast monthly.
Data Maintenance:
Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, quality, program managers and creative to maintain item information including product specs, part numbers, descriptions, and engineering change requests.
Skills and Qualifications
Understanding of Brand Management/Marketing in Mass, Drug, Prestige and ecommerce retail environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with problem solving and creative solutions.
Attention to detail and strong follow-through.
Basic understanding of costing/pricing financial analysis and P&L management.
Experience in Product and Packaging Development/Management.
Knowledge of Retail Pricing, Promotion, Distribution and Merchandising; understanding the overall Customer Journey.
Strategic thinking with the ability to act tactically; able to develop creative marketing solutions.
Experience working cross-functionally and across an organization.
General computer skills with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Comfort presenting to peers and management.
Strong project and time management skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years’ marketing experience in the consumer products/beauty area
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications
MBA in marketing and management
