Neuroscience Sales Specialist - Omaha, NE Johnson & Johnson has entered into an agreement to acquire Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc, a biopharmaceutical company focused on CNS disorders. This acquisition enhances our neuroscience capabilities and supports our ambition to become the #1 neuroscience company worldwide. Intra-Cellular Therapies, a Johnson & Johnson company, is expanding its CAPLYTA® medical team to support our growing impact in psychiatry. Responsibilities Following compliance guidelines, drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in-person and virtually.

Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives. Customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.

Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers. Routinely share information with relevant internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region. Identify and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.

Work with Regional Business Manager and stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of objectives and capitalizes on formulary approvals and other opportunities.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing of best practices.

Ensure timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.

Build a business plan based on depth of customer business needs, resources and products.

Complete all company and job-related training within required timelines.

Job Requirements Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in healthcare sales/account management, business-to-business sales, or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military.

3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.

Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bi-polar sales experience highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers; patient-centric mindset preferred.

High integrity and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Strong self-motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, good judgment, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Proven ability to learn and adapt in evolving environments.

Ability to adapt to telemedicine/virtual environments.

Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress and identify opportunities.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse audience.

Work hours may include meetings outside of normal hours; some overnight travel may be required.

Domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and meetings will be required periodically.

Benefits

Salary range for this position: $79,000 - $155,000 Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
