
Job Description:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the organization to patients seeking routine care or life-defining health insights. This role is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring all procedures are performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with established practices. The PSR II creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while demonstrating leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. The position may be assigned to a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs. Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily assigned activities accurately and on time under the direction of the Area Supervisor. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence, following established procedures. Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm specimens were labeled correctly in the patient's presence. Maintain required records and documentation accurately and timely. Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Demonstrate organizational commitment and leadership behaviors in daily activities. Job Requirements:

Training locations may vary based on trainer availability. Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED. Medical training such as Medical Assistant or Paramedic preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Work Experience:
1-3 years of phlebotomy experience REQUIRED, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred. Keyboard and data entry experience REQUIRED.
