The Relationship Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, fostering partnerships while identifying opportunities for business growth. This role ensures seamless communication between customers and internal teams, managing the full product lifecycle from development through order fulfillment in a contract manufacturing environment. The Relationship Manager must possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills to drive customer satisfaction, maximize efficiency, and enhance profitability. What you will do
Serve as the primary liaison for assigned customers, maintaining proactive communication. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations to ensure alignment with company capabilities. Lead customer meetings, weekly conference calls, and provide email updates to keep stakeholders informed. Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, fostering long-term business relationships. Review customer development briefs and conduct project kickoff meetings to establish clear objectives. Communicate customer requirements to internal teams, ensuring alignment on expectations and deliverables. Track and manage project timelines, proactively addressing risks, delays, and alternative solutions. Organize and maintain project documentation and tracking systems, ensuring real-time updates. Work closely with the lab team to translate customer briefs into product formulations while managing expectations. Guide product development to meet customer requirements for aesthetics and performance. Oversee all aspects of new product launches, ensuring timely execution and seamless transition to production. Act as the central communication hub between customers and internal teams, including R&D, Operations, and Sales. Ensure all internal stakeholders meet project deadlines and resolve any roadblocks that arise. Drive issue resolution through strategic problem-solving and collaboration with internal partners. Ensure smooth transition from product development to manufacturing, monitoring progress at every stage. Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance overall customer experience. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to provide insights that add value to customer relationships. Proactively monitor and report on project risks, providing solutions to keep timelines on track. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project tracking for internal and customer reporting. Support business development efforts by identifying potential growth opportunities within existing accounts. Adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements for product development and manufacturing. Hybrid work model: remote work permitted on most days, with in-office attendance required on designated days. Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) Experience Qualifications
1-3 years in the hair, skin, or personal care industry, with a focus on product development and order fulfillment. (Preferred) 1-3 years managing and building customer relationships. (Preferred) 1-3 years of customer-facing experience. (Preferred) 1-3 years contract manufacturing experience preferred; knowledge of cosmetic product manufacturing is a plus.
